Welcome to Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare's Supportive Therapeutic Housing Division
THE SHŌVE HOUSE
The Shōve House Mission: The Shōve House provides a cooperative, clean and sober living environment; enabling residents to address their mental health and/or chemical dependency challenges which led to homelessness.
The Shōve House, located next door to Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare, provides housing for single individuals who are chronically homeless adults and do not have custodial children. For more information regarding eligibility criteria, please click here. The facility is comprised of 11,500 square feet with nine apartment units and nine shelter dorm rooms for 18 residents. Applications for the apartments are available between 8am - 5pm at the Shōvehouse or at Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare or by clicking here. Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare is located at 1007 Koala Drive Omak WA 98841.
We would like to thank our community and the following funders for their support and contributions: Department of Commerce Washington State Housing Trust Fund, Okanogan County, HUD McKinney Supportive Housing Program, Community Foundation of North Central Washington, Sterling Savings Bank, Wenatchee World Neighbors Care Fund, Bank of American and private donations. Without these organizations and individuals, our project would not have been possible.
